Did you know the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad welcomed around 1.2 million visitors annually during our collaboration with them? Let’s look at how we helped them achieve this with a smart strategy:

01

The Camera + Audio Guide Combo

Imagine this: you’re at the museum, ready to capture some stunning shots, and you’re offered an audio guide that brings every artifact to life with fascinating stories. That’s exactly what the Salar Jung Museum did. By combining the ‘Camera Ticket’ with an audio guide app we developed, they created a seamless, value-packed experience for visitors. This integration led to the launch of the ‘Camera + Audio Ticket,’ offering convenience and an enriched visit in one package.

02

Leveled Up Engagement

Since the app’s introduction, visitors weren’t just observing—they were listening and learning. Instead of reading static plaques, they immersed themselves in compelling narratives about the exhibits. This deeper engagement encouraged visitors to stay longer, explore more, and even return for future visits.

03

Revenue Growth

Bundling the camera and audio guide tickets didn’t just improve the visitor experience—it significantly boosted the museum’s revenue. Visitors perceived more value in the combined ticket, making it an easy choice. Additionally, the app’s accessibility attracted new demographics, expanding the museum’s audience and financial success.

04

Access Control and Preview Tours

To protect the premium content and offer a personalized touch, the museum implemented an access code system. This ensured seamless access to the audio guide while safeguarding its content. Moreover, free preview tours were introduced, offering visitors a glimpse of the app’s benefits and encouraging them to upgrade to the full experience.
